Choosing an organic latex mattress helps reduce your exposure to the toxins common in modern consumer products. No harmful chemicals or petroleum based materials are required in the production process, making them a clean, safe choice for your home — and your health.
Our organic mattresses only contain GOLS certified organic latex (with comfort zones), GOTS certified organic coir (coconut) fibre and organic cotton and OEKO-TEX organic wool (or vegan) mattress cover. Plus, a thin layer of natural graphite infused organic latex which acts as a natural fire barrier to avoid the use of toxic fire retardants. Plus, graphite-infused latex offers several benefits including enhanced durability, a luxury plush feel, superior temperature regulation, and hypoallergenic properties
These materials are grown and processed without chemicals, and the mattresses contain no metal springs — eliminating potential health concerns like electro-magnetic smog.
Organic latex is naturally breathable, hypoallergenic, anti-microbial, and long-lasting. It also offers excellent temperature and moisture regulation, and resists mould and dust mites — making it ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers.

We never use adhesives to bond the layers of our mattresses—preserving their purity and ensuring they remain truly organic. This thoughtful design also allows you to rearrange the layers to customize firmness levels, tailoring comfort to your unique preferences within a single mattress.
Our organic mattresses are 100% vegan. They do not contain any animal products or by-products, such as wool, and are not tested on animals.
“A wonderful night’s sleep at last! I am obsessed with my new Demko mattress. After years of waking up every morning with back pain, I reached out to Demko to advise me on which mattress would suit me best. I love that all their mattresses are organic and vegan friendly, but I never expected such life changing results too. It’s deliciously comfortable and yet reassuringly supportive. With my previous mattress I always felt I was lying in the wrong position, but now I get a great night sleep whether I’m lying on my side or back, and I no longer need a stack of pillows to support my spine. I can’t put a price on that. Highly recommended!”

The Hevea Brasiliensis tree, which produces organic latex, is one of the most ecological trees in the world. One tree absorbs approximately 1.8 tons of CO2 in its lifetime — comparable to a rainforest tree. Globally, organic latex plantations offset 90 million tons of CO2 per year. Producing a queen-size mattress requires 12 acres of rubber plantations. These trees absorb 143 tons of CO2 annually and provide employment for 8 rubbe tappers. Derived from the rubber tree, organic latex is also naturally biodegrad-able.
Chiropractors and back specialists recommend organic latex mattresses for their outstanding orthopaedic qualities. The material conforms dynamically to the shape of your spine, delivering precise support and relieving pressure points — which reduces tossing and turning. Unlike memory foam, organic latex has a responsive, springy feel that makes movement easier and minimizes partner disturbance by up to 85%.
Many mattresses labeled as “natural latex” are not truly organic. These blends may contain just 30% natural latex and up to 70% synthetic fillers — yet still carry the label “natural.” Synthetic latex is made from petroleum industry byproducts and lacks the hypoallergenic, anti-fungal, and breathable qualities of certified organic latex. It also degrades faster, contributing to discomfort and waste. Our mattresses are made from 100% certified organic latex — with no synthetic latex added.
We always use organic coir (coconut fibre) in our mattresses to ensure proper spinal support. Without it, even an organic latex mattress wouldn’t offer sufficient structure. Organic coir is extracted from the tough, elastic husk of coconuts. Its natural strength and durability make it an ideal support material. Like latex, it has excellent breathability and moisture-regulating properties. Coir doesn’t retain moisture, which allows for perfect airflow throughout the mattress. This helps keep the inner layers dry and maintains the shape and resilience of the materials. Combined with organic latex, coir creates a mattress that offers cool, supportive, and healthy sleep — night after night.
According to Dr Morris Nejat (New York Allergy and Sinus Centers) “The chemicals used to make certain memory foam mattresses are proven to be carcinogenic. Latex is superior, it’s what we recommend to our patients.”
R. Douglas Fields PhD stated “As we sleep on our coil-spring mattresses, we are in effect sleeping on an antenna that amplifies the intensity of the broadcast FM/TV radiation. Sleeping on these antennas, exposes our bodies to the amplified electromagnetic radiation for a third of our life spans.
